KMart has a sale until Aug 10th they are $6.99.
Besides everytime a new wave hits they sell out here.

It's hard for stores here to put out new waves...most are clogged up with the first two waves & refreshers still.

i realize how much i lucked out when i got the hobgoblin & blade when i saw them, haven't seen that wave since....let alone red or gray hulk.

Of course that KMart I went to charges $9.49 as the regular price. My closest KMart has them for $8.99.

Oh and the Secret Wars comic packs were found in Rochester NY at Target already!

I found another Universe three pack exclusive at TRU today. It contains Daredevil (yellow/brown costume), Stealth Armor Iron Man (different costume from single card), and Silver Surfer (frosty white like Iceman). I hadn't seen any news about this one and at first I thought someone just swapped out Firestar with a Showdown DD, as IM and SS look very similar to Spidey and Iceman upon quick glance. Its actually a pretty nice pack, too bad the price is tad high at 22.99

I saw that set as well yesterday, first time I've found any of the sets. I was looking for the Spiderman set, but they didn't have it. I was looking for this thread to mention the pack, thanks for finding it.

The DD/IM/SS pack is the only one I've found so far. I'd love it if not for the washes. Yellow Daredevil has an orange wash ( ). Silver Surfer is white with a dirty wash. Looks like he's been flying through a sewer. Stealth Iron Man has a lighter blue wash.

I stopped by the local TRU today after work, and they had about 4 or 5 of the Daredevil / Ironman / Silver Surfer packs.
No Spiderman and his Amazing Friends packs, but I did pick up a couple of the Soldiers and Henchmen packs, so my Nick Fury could have a couple guys to boss around.

I really want a bunch of those hydra guys, even though I have no idea how I'll use them, I love that sculpt and it looks even cooler with that color scheme.

I mainly got the sets for the S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers, but I love those Hydra henchmen. I may end up getting more sets for the two of them, which will leave me with even more white Hand Ninjas that I don't have anything to do with.

I was a little disappointed with the S.H.I.E.L.D. soldiers' heads though. They seemed too small, and looked almost like knock-off figure molds.
So I jazzed mine up a bit.
I just found heads that would fit with no mods needed, then wanted some kind of Sci-Fi-ish helmet. I don't know if I'll stay with the Fleet Trooper helmets or not, but they are good stand-ins for now. I also went with the DTC Med Alert shotgun, because it has that Sci-Fi feel to it, that I always associate with S.H.I.E.L.D.'s cutting edge tech.

an addendum to my post yesterday about the Daredevil/IronMan/Surfer pack. The price is $29.99, not $22.99. What a bargain!

When I got my Soldiers and Henchmen packs yesterday, I noticed that the tag, under the 3-packs on the shelf, said $29.99. When I scanned the Soldiers and Henchmen packs the price was $22.99, but the other pack was $29.99. Which doesn't bother me at all. I really have no interest in that pack anyway, regardless of price. Now if the other 3-packs were that much, I seriously doubt I would get any of them either.

It probably is a mistake, but whatever, all of the figures look like ass in it. Why do a white Surfer and not I dunno, a vac metal one? Plus the washes ruin Iron Man and Daredevil, and the DD mold sucked to begin with. So let them charge whatever they want, I'm not interested.
