I'm not a Minimates collector, but I ran across this today and thought some might be interested: http://www.cooltoyreview.com/story/fron ... 125075.asp

It will fit up to a 4 inch figure, so that's cool. The design isn't bad, but it' looks a little "unstable" in the pictures.

Hehe, looks like there is a market for cardboard I guess? I could make that all day long, but out of plastic. Stuff like this is worlds easier to make than Cobra Bases and the like. If they're gonna make something official, they could put a touch of effort into it, hehe. I guess the effort is that they laminated the cardboard?

I like the basic idea. I am currently building a playset using MDF, plastic and card. I have adapted some of the Diodrama sets for it.
