Are these only at TRU? If not I am sure they will be cheaper at like walmart or Target.

I bought mine at Wal-Mart in Canada.

As far as I know they're not an exclusive.

not THIS big of a mark up, though.

Star Trek figures are 6-8 bucks on average
most 3 3/4 figures are around that. with the secondary market stores selling them for as much as 12 bucks (walgreens, newbury comics)

10 a figure for NORMAL retal price is too high, especially for stores like Target, Wal-Mart and TRU, which get exclusive figures.

The three pack is actually cheaper than three single packed figures here in Canada, so technically it isn't overpriced here. :-/

Well single movie figures are going to be $7.99 here. That's what the Walmart computer has them listed at. I agree now they are way over-priced! Star Wars & Marvel figures are about the same. Plus Hasbro has got to give Lucas & Marvel their cut! So now they are just being greedy on their own brands like G.I. Joe & Transformers.

...no it isn't.

Single carded Joe: 9.99$
Three single-carded Joes: 29.97

MARS 3-pack: 29.99$

But really, by contrast...

DVD 4-packs: 29.99$
5-packs: 34.99$
Vehicles: Ranges between 19.99$ and 22.99$

Considering all these OTHER multi-packs give you a truckload more bang for your buck than the 3-pack, it still feels like a rip-off. Which makes it no surprise the damn things are simply not moving off the shelves. Why spend 30$ on three figures when you can get four and a DVD for the same price, or five for a mere five dollars more, or a figure with a vehicle (and even two figures with two small vehicles!) for even less?

Considering the SRO 3 pack at TRU is sitting on the shelf RIGHT NEXT to the MARS 3 pack, it's no wonder these don't move.

SRO 3 pack - $16.99
Mars 3 pack - $29.99

Ding Ding! Psychological pricing working in reverse! :)

AKA why Hasbro raised their Joe prices b/c Marvel & SW seemed (and are) more expensive than they should be.

Oh, do they?

TRU exclusives NEVER get sold in this province because of the lack of bilingual packaging.
It really gets on my nerves.

I found several dozen of these at a west coast TRU in Canada about a month ago and they were $29.99.
I was shocked and didn't buy it. Earlier this year I bought the Skyduster 3-pack there for $16.99 so I was hoping
this MARS set would be the same, no deal.

Depends on if it is found in a certain Wal Mart or TRU, as the ones I have seen have been 30 bucks OR 25.
Thus making it cheaper than 3 singles ;-)

I visited my local Zellers this morning. They had these packs in stock at 29.99$Can as well. I was kinda hoping that TRU had marked theirs up and Zellers would have them at 24.99$, but no luck. I received a 10$ gift card for Easter, I might cave and pick up a pack with it.

On another note, Zellers raised the price on the Greatest Battles 4-Pack from 24.99$Can to 26.99$ :-(
