Agreed.

However, the scorpion Jeep wins almost by default, as (like I wrote int he Joes poll) the Power fighter was just a glorified Chair.
It Did give the Desert Scorpions and later Desert Rats/ Sand Vipers a decent ride.

Beyond its coloring, I find it to be a pretty versatile jeep. Plenty of room for troops, very nicely armed... I find it more impressive overall than the more popular Stinger jeep.

If only, as I said, you could switch the cannon and gatling gun's positions so it matches the box art.

I went with the Scorpion Jeep. It was cool that it came in two color styles, even if you weren't sure which style you were getting in the average box (and it might not have been intentional).

There's also the fact that the Power Fighter, unfortunately, FAILED as miserably as it did to be a counterpoint to the recently introduced Exo-Squad, which clearly the Power Fighters were intended to imitate. It just didn't work. I wasn't sorry to see the Techno-Viper back, but come on.

Ultimately, the Defense Mechs of the 2002-era were much more successful in this respect.

The last year of the original Joe run, and Cobra definately went out with a whimper.

Scorpion - A pretty cool little jeep with good detailing. The colors work better as a Joe vehicle. The two color variations is kind of a neat difference. Easily the best of the two.

Power Fighter - Yeah...maybe it wasn't such a bad thing that the original run of GI Joe toys died after this year.
