I went with the ghost striker. Action features aside, this is a damn cool plane. The monster blaster was a pretty close second (although the B.A.T. version was better), and the shark isn't as bad as people seem to think.

If you would have asked me this just two years ago, I would have answered Ghost Striker F-16 without even thinking about it. It is a cool small jet with neat play features that don't get in the way. A little small but not horrible and it comes with a great version of Ace.

After getting the Shark 9000 though, I have to vote for it. It was one of those obnoxious 90's toys with the neon pink that I passed on when it was released. Mike T's figure reviews that used it and Airtight's IG custom of it made me take another look at it. I got mine from beav with the intention of customizing it. Once I played with it and filled it with figures I was amazed at how cool all the play features were. It squirts water sucked up from whatever the boat is floating in, it has spring fired mines, and it has a rubber band powered propeller. It also holds about a 6-8 figures easily. It may not be as realistic looking as the WHALE, but it has all of the WHALE's play value and isn't nearly as fragile.

I never owned one of my own but I really liked the Armor Bot. Had I had one when I was younger it would have crossed over into my Star Wars universe as well. I just like big robots and I was enjoying the G.I. Joe/Transformer crossover very much at the time.

Unlike 1992, this was a tough call because there were so many cool vehicles on the year. I ultimately went with the Armor-Bot, probably because I have so many of them and have customized such a load of them. :)

However, the Ghost-Striker and the Shark 9000 would also be high contenders, and I rather liked the Monster Blaster as well.

I've got two more Armor-Bot ideas, for that matter. A Dreadnok-Bot and a B.A.T.-Bot. Unfortunately, I'm all outta Armor-Bots. :-/

Ghost-Striker.
My first Joe vehicle ever.

And a very cool one at that. I love the sound effects and the light target, not to mention how nice and sturdy the jet itself is.

The Shark indeed looks very cool, but I haven't seen one yet so the Armor Bot gets my vote. Awesome mech, I don't use it for just the space missions, but for any kind.

The Mudbuster is awesome too. Nice offroad look and plenty of room in the back for stuff/figures. Ofcourse it needs a re-paint job and the springloaded gun should be replaced.

This was a hard one,.. as most of the vehicles this year were great!

Ghost-Striker - A great Fighter, with lots of playability features, yet not oversized.

Mudbuster - one of my favorite ground vehicles. functional with great weapons plus it holds a fire team of figures.

Shark 9000 - probably the third best Water vehicle behind the Whale and Hydrofoil. TONS of play value, weapons (I love the missile/ deaph charge launcher) and holds up to 7 figures.
this design shouldnt be limited to the D.E.F. as it makes a great high speed intercept vehicle.

Dino Hunter Jeep - ANother great vehicle. the Desert fox was already a great vehicle, but the dino hunter Jeep adds better colors, plus new versions of pretty decent figures....... plus a Dinosaur!

Monster Blaster A.P.C. - This would have been a better vehicle if there were more than four Mega Marines (so the team fills the pilot/gunners positions, theres six empty seats) but I got around this by adding Rapid Fire and the Super Troopers into the mega Marines.
Other than that, the railgun/ moster blaster missile launcher is a fun weapon!

Ninja Lightning - Nice stylized Motorcycle, the double missile launcher is cool... but unless youre trying to reinact some Kill Bill esque scene, why would a ninja need a motorcycle? so I used this as Ninja Zartan's personal vehicle.

Piledriver - To this day I still don't see the purpose of this vehicle

Armor Bot - another great vehicle. I would have more love for this if the legs had more articulation. but I like the fact the cockpit fits both regular and armor tech figures.

Star Fighter - pretty decent recoloring of the Stilleto, but the bright orange missile kinda throws it off.. It makes a good escort for the Defiant/ Crusader shuttles.

Beast Blaster - I didnt like the color scheme of the Thunder machine repaint. and again, why would Blanka drive a vehicle?

Sonic Boom Tank - not a fan of this tank's design

Following a historically bad year, Hasbro rebounds a little bit in 1993. But not much.

Ghost-Striker - Even with the gimmicks, this is an excellent toy and stands up well against most other vehicles. My only complaints is that it has some orange bits and it is a two seater (trainer?). Otherwise, this is the one from 1993 that I coveted and ultimately gets my vote.

Mudbuster - I lump this vehicle together with the Badger from 91 as completely laughable and uninspiring Joe vehicles. And that's completely ignoring the awful colors; even a rattle-can couldn't save this from being pathetic.

Shark 9000 - Looking like something the Joes created to counter the Moray, this boat combines speed with firepower quite nicely. The shark torpedo is more comical than cool (Does it swim? You're kidding.) And the colors are really bright, but actually work in a Coast Guard kind of way. Not great, but respectable.

Dino Hunter Jeep - Didn't like the Fox, and I honestly can't agree that the color change was an improvement.

Monster Blaster A.P.C. - I really like this vehicle, 70% of it is in military colors, it looks angular and speedy, and it has a neat bolt-action blaster on top.

Ninja Lightning - My brother had this bike, I remember thinking it was too big, fat, and ugly. Kind of the Kirsty Alley of Joe motorcycles.

Piledriver - I didn't even know this vehicle existed. The name sounds like one of these: :sackpunch: Looking at it on YoJoe.com, I'm guessing that isn't too far from the truth. It looks like a Pile....of something.

Armor Bot - Wow, never seen one in real life, but man that is a huge mech! I'm surprised it hasn't become one of the more coveted pieces for collectors; it's big and probably pretty rare. Except I can't say I really want one myself.

Star Fighter - Not a big fan of when Cobra vehicles become Joe vehicles (or visa versa). Rip off the orange bits and it becomes a decent looking space fighter.

Beast Blaster - A neon Thunder Machine? Pass.

Sonic Boom Tank - A repaint that actually improves on the original vehicle? That's rare. But the Paralyzer it is based on is such a stinker, I still can't give it much love.
