The Condor is very neat looking with what I think is one of the best looking vehicle drivers. As cool as it is, you'd be hard pressed to beat the best Cobra tank in the HISS 2. It took everything that was iconic int eh original HISS and suped it up with all the things you'd expect from a piece of GI Joe armory. Room for two drivers and a squad of Vipers. Added missiles, smaller machine guns, and a serious triple cannon. I'd take a new black version of this HISS over a 1,000 HISS 1s any day of the week.

This is a great year for a None Of The Above option. The HISS II has so much promise, but the Star Wars esque detailing on the sides and the sci-fi laser cannon on top ruin it for me.

Many will consider it heresy, but I find myself liking the FANG II best in this group. I love the Osprey-esque twin rotor design. The overall look of the aircraft isn't bad either. I wish they hadn't used the FANG name on this vehicle, as you can't really surpass the original. But overall this is a vehicle I actually enjoy having in my Cobra fleet.

I almost voted for the Condor, even though I've never had one. It is impressive just for its sheer size, you gotta love the fact it's a bomber, and the overall look is pretty impressive. However, a couple major flaws really kill it for me. First and foremost, I HATE the two-in-one vehicle concept, especially when both vehicles lack any sort of believability on their own. The other problem I have is the wings are way too thick. I realize they hold the bombs, but those wings look more like thighs.

Even though I like the idea of a H.I.S.S. APC, the H.I.S.S. II is just plain terrible looking in my books. Thankfully, the DTC H.I.S.S. eventually gave me the APC I was looking for.

The Devastator and Hovercraft are both cheap junk that I wouldn't even bother putting in my Cobra fleet.

I went with the HISS II, as an entirely worthy successor to the original HISS.

The FANG II was just a little too far removed from the original, although it wasn't a bad vehicle, and the CONDOR, while a very interesting plane, was a little bit too bizarre.

I chose the HISS II too. The best of the options there. Cobra really didn't have a lot that year.

I could even live with the detailing if it wasn't for the laser cannon and the piss-poor coloring. Put a standard HISS turret on the HISS II and it would have been excellent. Do that and color it like the convention one or in black, and it would have been perfect, especially if they also re-colored the guns. I can live with red missiles/rockets, but don't care for it with guns. But, a different color scheme could even save the red guns-it doesn't look horrible on the STUN.

But, the HISS II as is, I had to pick the Condor over that. I ignore the silly split-apart feature, and just use it as a Cobra bomber.

this was a mixed year for me....... this was the year I officially and totally defected from Transformers to G.I.Joe, and began buying toys with my own money. This was also the year I got into the comics (and backtracked from issue 101 to get the whole series)

I have to say up front the devastator and Hovercraft was complete crap. I couldn't even think of a minor use for these vehicles.

The Condor was a cool plane, yeah the seperation sequence was wierd, but it did make a cool looking bomber.

I didnt mind the newer design for the Fang II, My only issue with it was that the gyro copter blades were fragle as all hell, and would break during play combat.

However I LOVED the Hiss II! I thought this was one of the best cobra vehicles to come out in awhile. I didnt mind the sci-fi esque styling, because after the movie, I expected cobra's vehicles to be kinda wierd (as if a giant cargo plane with a snake head wasnt wierd enough). Its ability to carry troops was the coolest, and I loved the Double drop down cockpit.

Voting for the vehicles as they were, I went with the Condor. However, had the Hiss II been all black, it would have easily won.
