I can' r figure out the hit n run harness. It looks weird.

It's the cartoon-based JUMP straps, included with Duke in the 5th DVD 5-pack. Because the harness clips in the front, the piece that sits on his chest is extra thick, and sits sideways for the most part. Not my favorite choice in this set, but it does approximate his original webgear... I just wish *he* had Duke arms, since his original design had 3/4 sleeves to show off his camo.

Excellent.... Now just give us some release dates and retail cost....

So are these really going to be online only?

These look fantastic. My biggest letdown is Ripcord and H&R's guns. They stay so close to the originals for the majority of 25th accessorie releases, but completely let me down with JvC rehashes. Their guns are two of my favorite in the entire original line, too.

That Alley Viper looks fantastic. Still not as cool as the custom from the one Con, but still looks to be a fantastic production piece.

The last Q and A stated that these would be online only. And more expensive than the Extreme Conditions packs, but not much more.

Lots of hits, a few misses. Personally, I can't wait for Ripcord, Zap, Mindbender, Alley-Viper and a whole horde of Night Creepers and Lampreys!

On a slightly unrelated note... did TNI change their login system recently? I tried to login to see the pics, but instead of asking for my username and PW, it asked for email address and PW. I tried the email addy I signed up with many moons ago (and still use) but no luck. My username is still listed when I search the members listing. What gives?

Everyone looks pretty good except Wetsuit. A new helmet piece would've gone a long way to tie him into his original look.

The Alley Viper is amazing. I always wanted that gun to come off the backpack as a kid.

 Childhood dream fulfilled!

About a year ago, if not longer. They more or less incorporated all their various sites into ENI.com, which is now where you log-in to view the boards, even tho the boards are mostly TNI's domain (very few posts in the comic or misc sections... very few posts anywhere but the GIJoe, Transformers, Star Wars, and DC/Marvel sections, honestly).

I find it easier to login via my e-mail, since it gets confusing which sites I'm registered with the hyphen, where I'm unhyphened, and whether I left a space in between or not. Logging in thru my one and only e-mail account means I just have to remember the different passwords (which is hard enough).

Probably best to contact someone from TNI (JayC if you can find an e-mail addy somewhere on the site), and tell them your predicament. Never a good thing to have old accounts get lost in the ether when you can keep it active.

That Joe set look cool. And there are enough figures in it that I would like to get that it could justify getting the whole set. Zap is a must have to finish out my Original 13 in the 25th style.
The Cobra set though is a passer for me (may try to pick up a loose Strato-Viper). The figures look good and all but I like to keep my Cobra force pretty simple with just Blueshirt Troopers and Officers (and some of the variants of that look), CGs and special operatives (like Zartan, Firefly and Scrap Iron). All the craziness of the various Viper types and Ninja accountants has just lost its appeal to me over the years. So if you have trouble finding the Cobra set it's not my fault.

Thank goodness that AV is in a set like that...it will keep me from buying up a bunch. Heaven help my wallet if they put out AVs in single packs

These look fantastic. Very nice swan song for the 25th line. Wish they were on single cards for the MOC wall, but I'll gladly buy these up. I guess a pre-o will appear on BBTS any day now.

Both sets are nice, unfortunantly i'll only be able to afford 1 Cobra pack and that's it. Shame they are internet only, they would have done well at TRU.
