Since I'm only one figure away from having a complete set of the Original 13 I would pass on a box set to save money. If some of the figures had some major improvement I may try to pick them up loose on ebay. And while I agree there are more "flavorful" Joes out there I still love the Original 13 best because they did have that more uniform look you would expect from a military unit (and they remind me of little green army men).

We should have gotten a set of all 13 way earlier in the 25th line, early '08 maybe, to pay tribute to the original 13 before they all had a chance to come packed in vehicles or other box sets.

If were to get a set now there would have to be a lot of retoolings and parts swaps to improve over the already released versions and bring them closer to their original figures in details. Some of them would have to have new, individual headsculpts too. And I'd definitely buy they set if they were something special like that.
