The new webgear and helmet with Firefly are really nice. But I don't think I can justify a tiny, rotorless Comanche just for that.

I'd planned on buying the Steel Crusher, but after seeing a better shot of the "Nitro-Viper" I dunno if I want one all that much. The clear visor is an easy fix, but I can't fathom why they used the HISS Driver torso if they were just going to put a vest over it. The belt hole looks junky too. Probably wait till they hit clearance now, or hope that after the movie stuff goes away Hasbro decides to grace us with an improved one in classic packaging and some more paint decos.

I'm suprised they haven't just re released Spy-troops vehicles and painted them for the movie. Could have fooled me. Tonka Joes for all!

That's not Firefly, that's a Gyro-Viper, at least in my Joe-verse. Not big on the vehicle, but I do like the figure. I still like the Nitro-Viper, and since he'll always be in the vehicle, the belt hole isn't a big deal. And the Steel Crusher is a nice looking Chap Mei vehicle. I'll probably get a couple.

Still not sure on the Steel Crusher but either way I'll be borrowing from the Iron Man movie because it will either be the Fun-vee or Ho-Humvee. The driver makes it something for me to get though since a little paint here and there will make the figure shine.

I wonder if Hasbro is aware that the sample Gunship that they sent to the photographer was damaged... I'm still waiting to see what that sucker looks like with wings and engines and stuff.

Unless it's just meant to be a flight simulator pod...?

I actually really like that gunship. It reminds me a lot of the Orca Fighters from Command and Conquer. But the Firefly figure does nothing for me (I hate the arms on that mold), so I'll be throwing that up for trade as soon as I get one. The Steel Crusher is growing on me, too (isn't that like the third name this thing has had, though?). I'll probably wait for a sale to pick it up, though.

I wonder if these characters will appear in the movie, or if Hasbro is just "moviefying" several figures to make us happy.

The helmet on Firefly at least looks like Hasbro could turn it around and use it to make a Cesspool figure.

I agree that the beltless torso looks a bit bad.
