Not the generic suit body I was hoping for, but this is very nice. Works well as Destro, and has lots of custom potential. A must buy. Weapons are blah, but the figure itself is fab.
What?! Those weapons are super nifty with interchangeable/customizable parts. They look like cutting edge MARS technology. The fig is very cool, but those weapons, to me, is what makes this one a must have.

I like weapons with interchangeable parts, the VvV Duke rifle is one of the bet accessories in the entirety of the Joe line, but these just look too . . . I dunno . . . Liefeld to me. When designing a futuristic weapon it's really hard to strike the balance between advanced and realistic, especially without putting a lot of thought in (Dave Johnson and Shirow Masamune are both good at this IMO). These fall too far on the futuristic side of things and don't look like they'd actually work to me. But hey, to each their own.

BAD. ASS. I absolutely love that look.

I knew you would. :-P

I agree, this is a great interpretation of Destro...now my 3rd favorite, behind the '83 and '88 versions. The Euro-militant look works exceptionally well for him, and the shirt/tie is nicely new for the character. Yep, he's a must-buy. :-)

AWE-SOME!

That is one BA figure no matter how you slice it.

Hopefully an unjacketed, shirt and tie version follows as well.

Bought.

I mean literally.

I'd been thinking about ordering a couple of things from that seller for a while and seeing that pushed me right over the edge.

For my purposes, a guy like Destro can't have too many outfits.

I'm also thinking those Neo-Vipers might make half-decent bases for Royal Guard customs. Tempting...

Well after a day of all this positivity and not being able to see ebay at work...I have to say I'm kinda Meh about the figure. This is a figure ruined by the mid torso Joint....It looks like he's got a half jacket on the top and then another jacket on underneath of that....It's ugly.

The concept is neat...but execution here is far below blah...DVD set #2 Destro just can't be beat. So far I'm looking to be movie figure free.

Nice figure - any idea which wave he's part of? Hopefully we don't have to wait for multiple waves of Snakes Eyes and Dukes to clog the shlelves before this one shows up.

I think he's in the first wave... just wasn't shown at Toy Fair.
