the cobra wierdness got worse this year...

but the Cobra Wolf wins it for me in this one...

A vast improvement over the snowcat in design:

Solid ski torpedoes
hidden missile launchers
plane style cocpit
and a machine gun weapon, something the snowcat lacked.

...and debate it if you want to, the Wolf came with a cold weather Ninja!

Agree with everything above, plus the following:

- Detachable "snowboard" skiis (though they did look funny with big shock absorbers)
- Fold up/down tank treads

Everything else from this year was just wierd.

Criminy. Looking over that list and there wasn't much to work with, was there? The Maggot was cool, but I ultimately went with the Cobra Wolf.

The Mamba is very good. Some think it wouldn't work but it's rotor setup is based on actual technology that was used in real helicopters. It also had plenty of missiles. In the comic book, the Mamba was important in some exciting stories.

Sooooo many good ones, but I chose POGO! It's very 'swooshable', plus it's the only vehicle I really connect to Cobra Commander.

I'm sure I'll be the only vote for this vehicle...

I voted Mamba. I loves me some helicopters. I still wonder how badly you have to screw up, to get assigned to one of those manned torpedos. WWII Germany had a helicopter with that type of rotor set up. I believe it figured into their plans to rescue Muselini? All that History Channel programing is starting to run together in my head....

The only one of those I ever actually had was the Pogo. It served my battle armored Cobra Commander well, when I was but a wee little Grey. It was silly, but I liked it, back then.

I went with the Wolf. I like the Mamba fairly well, and I should give it higher marks for being the only non-FANG Cobra helicopter of the original line, but I think that it is too large and I've never understood the dual blades (wouldn't they be a risk to collide?).

If the sync apparatuses failed you'd be up "LASER BLAST"'s creek without a paddle, and would actually want to be in one of those pod things.

Inter-meshing blades aren't real problem, it's those fruity pods and the overall color scheme. If i ever happen upon a Mamba i think i'd lose the pods and convert the voids into intakes or munitions systems.

Mamba, nuff sed.

I'm torn between the Wolf and the Jet Pack, but since the Jet Pack ain't getting no love with this poll, I gotta let it get some recognition. The Wolf is a little too environment specific and the Maggot would rank high on the list for me if it had less yellow on it. As I've gotten older, the Jet Pack is actually more functional than the JUMP, since it actually has controls. As a vintage item, it's also affordable enough that I can buy them sealed and have the fun of putting them together. Nothing beats the high-speed attack combo of a HISS and a couple of Jet Packs. The back of the HISS is a great place to deploy a Jet Pack, either recon or air support. Plus, I've always had a soft spot for small flying craft like Firebat, the Night Raven drone, and such. Personally, I think everyone has a secret hatred for the Jet Pack because Crystal Ball is on the box art. Replace him with a Viper and I'm sure people would army-build it
