I didn't see this mentioned anywhere. I can across wave 2 of the Combat Heroes at a K-Mart today. Baroness/Flint, Destro/Scarlett, and StormShadow/Barbecue.

I picked up the Baroness and Scarlett packs. They look okay. For some reason, these just aren't as cute as the Star Wars Galactic Heroes, though.

They've been out for about 2 months.

I've had the Beachhead vs Serpentor set for a month though I still haven't opened it.

I feel a certain 4 letter word starting with the letter F entering this thread. And yes, this word is safe for kids.

I just wish that third wave was actually coming out. Rumor is that it's canceled. Well most are saying it's fact now, but I still hold out that it's just a rumor. Hasbro should just put it out there before the movie hits and let the ships fall where they will. I'll buy 2 sets.

Yeah Wave 2 has been out for quite a while now. I've got my set sitting on a shelf begging to be opened but I want to get another to keep MIB cuz the card art is so fun.

And I'm sure we'll see Wave 3 sometime during or after the movie comes out. They had what looked like finished samples they showed in both advanced release solicits AND in the Toy Fare article a month or so ago. I'd imagine they just got pushed back to make room for the movie stuff.

I am starting to think wave 3 will be made after all. Another site recently showed in package pictures of all of them. This does not confirm that they will in fact be made, but it gives me some hope that they will be. I like these things and wave 3 looks to be best of the bunch.

My guess is that they will be released at the time of the movie while the hype is high. The wave 5 vehicles were also canceled and brought back through other means. I think these will be as well.

I really hope they DO happenn. It was a sweet looking set and it would be a crying shame for them never to see the light of day.

We got wave 2 at retail here last year. But we never got wave 1. The only source for wave 1 around here is Midnight Chinese

I think someone at Hasbro doesn't know what the word canceled means because all sorts of canceled stuff ends up getting released later on.

My best guess is they are waiting to see how things go with the movie line before deciding which way to go with things. But I expect at some point wave 3 will come out.

combat heroes has been on clearance at my WM for about a month now.

Hasbro mentioned in the Q & A this past round that Wave 3 Combat Heroes were indeed canceled as they stood, but would perhaps see release in some sort of boxed set form in the future.
