I voted for the Dragonfly. That thing was loaded with awesome play-time goodness for my 8-year old hands. It's was that perfect size where it was not too small and not too big. It was always loaded with figs to drop-in for assaults and that rope saved hundreds of Joes over the years from certain doom. It was also great for deploying the VAMP on short notice. It's got missiles, a moving chin gun, side cannon, and working rotors - that's aces in my book
I think my dad liked the Skystriker more than I did. He was a model and plane nut, so that was right up his alley. As I've gotten older, the APC is a staple in my motor pool. I really think the designers captured a bit of magic starting with this particular year. Little details that look un-important make play-time way more involved...moving cannons and detailed engines help push these toys over-the-top to whatever else is on the shelf these days. All-in-all, you can't really go wrong with any toy from '83, lots of iconic toys in that bunch.
