If you have been like me, you might be on the fence wondering if the new marvel figures are bettor or worse than the SHS figures from a few years ago. Really we can talk about personal opinions all day, but I thought why not just take some side by side pics and let people deside for themselves. I have included Spider-Man, Silver Surfer, Wolverine (both Origins and X-force versions) Torch, and Iron Man. Sorry don't have Punisher and Daredevil yet.

Q: Do the limbs still pop off if a duck farts in the middle of the ocean 15 years ago?

Thats what I hated about the SHS was trying to pose them AND keep all the limbs on.

The hasbro ones have closer to 25th joe construction, so quick answer, no.

I actually only had that problem with Wolvie and Thing from SHS, not sure why though (well wolvie cause his shoulder pad broke off when I dropped him 15 min after getting him).

Small edge goes to SHS Spiderman over MU.

Ditto on that. Some of these new figures look a little bit too cartoony. I prefer teh SHS Iron Man as well, though that silver/black Wolvie does look nice.

Black and Silver wolvie is my fav of the Wolvie's currently out right now. Ironicly I wasn't even going to pick him up until I saw it.

I end up in a dead tie on MU and SHS Spidey's myself. Hard to call so I am glad I have them both

Overall I'd say the SHS are probably a bit more detailed and comic accurate looking.

However owning the entire SHS line I'll give the edge to Hasbro since I'm pretty sure that theirs won't self destruct if I look at them funny and are better posed (IE: No hunches).

Plus SHS Spiderman is just anorexic.

This is great! I gotta agree about Spidey. The edge goes to SHS. I added a ittle green stuff in the shoulder hole area to fix the pop off problem so I don't need you at all.

Black and Silver Wolvie looks like a win. I still like the SHS Wolvie over the others though, based on the head.

I slightly like MU Spider-Man better. Although MLS Spider-Man's head looks better. In any case I'm holding out for the Amazing Friends 3 pack.
MLS Surfer is much better than the MU one.
I do like the MU Wolvie better than the MLS one. I already sold off my MLS one.

I can't deside either way personally. I can't deside between them.



Definatly, if there is one figure Hasbro dropped the ball with in this wave it was the surfer IMO.



Silver and black really caught me off guard, but I love it.
