These items represent a bag of odd parts I have been tossing together for many years. Most of them are parts that I have found at flea markets.

Please note that while ALL of them look like Joe parts, I am not sure if any are, because they all are definitely reused and/or retooled from Joe parts.

Most are probably bootlegs, but I thought maybe I've missed something more obvious.

I included #2 as a good example. This accessory is awesome. I didn't know what it was when I got it, but it has been identified. It was included with a Congo figure but with a curious added feature: there is a joe-sized backpack peg on one side and on the other side is a joe-sized backpack hole. It allows you to place the thing on any standard vintage Joe, but then to also attach a backpack (which can look silly, but is certainly fun). This thing is great with the repaint of Eco Flint.

#1 is Dodger's gun but has pegs on each side and a larger, detailed handle among other differences.

#3 is Grunt's gun but has no holes, an elongated & detailed handle, and a peg on the side.

#4 looks like the precursor to #3. It has the handle detail but isn't quite as long. It has no peg on the side.

#5 is silver and a bit rubbery. The handle is different than Scoop's camera.

#6 I think may be from those Argentinian bootleg Joes that are in sitting poses. Not sure.

#7 is all I got of the sprue so I didn't remove them. I actually got this in the mid-90s. It is comparable to the plastic of the Ninja Force figures, but they never had a gray set that I know of.

#8 looks like it is off a vehicle and has what appears to be a broken red button that triggers the missile. It is retooled from Sci-Fi's launcher. It could belong to something vehicle or playset related that I haven't owned.

#9 is an interesting take on Viper's rifle with some details missing.

#10 I got along with #9. It is similar to Rip Cord's rifle.

#11 I am most certain is just a bootleg of Viper's gun. Still, pretty cool item.

#12 is Red Star's missile but with a round nub on the end. It may just be rounded off or it may be there to fit some kind of attachment on the end. It could belong to something vehicle or playset related that I haven't owned.

Any solid ideas of where any of this (except the solved #2) is from?

I don't have any ideas, other than some might be Funskool.

I do like #9 though. Looks like a rifle carbine or sniper rifle based on the classic Viper v1 rifle.

Would be awesome for a Sniper Viper.

Are you planning on casting these?

for some reason Terminator figures stick in my head with the ones with pegs on them...

Maybe Congo, Jurassic Park, stargate figures?

Seems like Kenner is a safe bet

#1 has been included in SO many bootleg toys it's not even funny. I had a bunch from these little ninja guys on motorcycles we sold when I worked at the drug store. Their shipping case had like 2 dozen extras at the bottom.

If you ever want to get rid of #11 I call dibs! I'll even trade you a "real" Viper gun for it.
