I recently entered the 1/18 scale GI Joe World ( I was into Jakks WWE figures before)
and I have learned a lot about the 1/18 scale world here on this site , I see alot of you mention you use Chap Mei and Power Team Elite vehicles with your Joe's
I did some online hunting for Chap Mei and Power Team Elite and I cant find anything
are those two brands/ line now defunct ?

The best places to find either are at Big Lots. Toys R Us has some Chap Mei items. The companies still are around, it's just that the products are not easily found. Check Toys R Us in the same section G.I.Joe is at.

Grab the F-22 if you get a chance. The figures are a tight fit, but then a lot of the the modern planes are sort of a tight fit anyway in real life. A Toys R Us exclusive Ace 25th figure looks great sitting at the controls.

Some of them are Chap Mei rebranded. TRU used to have PTE rebranded but it looks like Motormax is now making stuff instead. The F-22 & True Heroes Blackhawk are both made by Motormax.
Big Lots usually puts out PTE in August for the Xmas rush. When they run out they don't get anything in until next August.
KB Toys also had PTE.

Please don't do that to me! When I saw the title of teh thread, I thought that both companies had gone under.

I know that PTE and CM are still showing up in bulk over here in England so both companies seem to be going strong. I know what you mean about ebay. Very little of either seems to show up; only occassionally do we see a large amount, and then it is normally a bulk lot. Wish it came up more.

I used to be able to find PTE at TRU, but now its just Big Lots. Unfortunately for me Big Lots is 50 miles away.

I rarely see PTE online. And when I do, the prices are jacked up to bbi levels. I really want to get their Chi-Com stuff that's been showing up in places like New Zealand. The new tank and APC look great.
