Even though it's always cool to see unproduced and pre-prod art work, I'm really glad that there wasn't anymore Cobra-la. We had more then enough to start with. But I do love unproduced items.

The thing that throughs me off about the Nilifier, is that he's clearly a human under the mask, or atleast appers to be one. If he was a citizen of Cobra-La wouldn't he be all bugged out and wired looking, not just waring bug armor?

Not necessarily....Nemesis Enforcer, Pythona and the upper half of Golobulus were all humanoid, at least.

No reason to think that his "face" wouldn't be blue or somthing else Cobra La esk.

I'm just thankful another horrible idea was narrowly averted. Too bad the entire concept of Cobra-La wasn't aborted.

Well there was someone that used to post on the site that called the Nullifier Crab man so maybe he was onto something by calling him crab like. Could be that the Nullifier was part crab.

When I saw Chad's work on the GP, I loved it. Am a huge Cobra-La fan so would definitely look forward to seeing anything produced for them (unlikely chance now but I hold out hope).

As for the cycle, I was going to attempt to build the shell on a Bat-Pod until I saw one of the newer Dark Knight cycle vehicles in Walmart over the weekend.

It has shields on either side of the cycle and an open slit in the middle. The shields are even patterned similarly to the Cobra-la prototype just need to extend them some more.

Couldn't find a link to it but will try and pick-it up on Wednesday and take some pics.

As for Nullifier, that does greatly explain why his mold doesn't fit in with the IGs. His helmet always reminded me a little of a Chig from Space:Above and Beyond.

Yea I didn't think about that. I guess that could work, but I'm still glad he made it to production as an IG instead.

That's uber-cool! Don't think I'd ever heard the Nullifier was supposed to be a Cobra-La to begin with, but it works, with his armor's overall chitinous appearance. I would have army built these vehicles back then or now.

It's a shame they never expanded the Cobra-La after the initial offering. The recent Nemmy update gives me hope for future offerings, however :-)

Okay. I visited WM last night and found the cycle that I had in mind as a possible base for a custom. It is the Batman Armored Cycle. Here is a pic of it. I might pick one up when I go back.

Yeah, I saw that one at Walmart and had the same thought. I may wait for it to go on clearance, though.
