Is there a post somewhere where we can compare the compatibility of the 25th ann. accessories Vs. the vintage one? For example, does the new EELs mouthpiece can fit for the vintage EEls?

I can tell you the answer to your question is no. 1st the new mouthpeice is part of the backpack...it also connects to the mask in a totaly different manner than the vintage...one square rectangle, vs two small pegs.

Two vintage items that work with 25th figures are Flash's rifle in the 25th backpack and the vintage clear visor will fit on the Breaker helmet from the RAM/TB pack.

You mean, even if the mouthpiece has a different shape, it won't fit at all?

It would probably fit on the vintage Eel, but I doubt it would stay attached due to the shpae difference. Plus, it is glued to the 25th backpack.

Maybe not so much a compatibility thing, but a comparative thing would be a big help. Something maybe for Joeindex or YoJoe to thing about. Something like the difference with pictures on the Viper rifle (86 vs 25th), etc. I know there are many that are really close to the vintage original, like Barbeque's accessories, but I don't think the nozzle has the slot on the side like the vintage one. I haven't really tried any vintage items on new 25th figures or vice versa, so I really can answer your question, but it's interesting to say the least.

Here's pics of the Eels helmet and mask hook up.

If you look at the helmet you'll notice a clear piece that the mask attaches too which is not like the ARAH version.

Exact. I'm a little bit surprised that it doesn't exist yet. Maybe the 25th line is too young, there was so much to buy in a short period of time. But it would be great to comprae the vintage and the new accessories to see if it fits or not. All the backpacks are excluded because the back hole is not the same size and not the same position but the rifles, visors, ... and mouthpiece?

Are you saying the mouthpiece is compatible? If so your wrong. Again look at the pics I provided. The mouthpiece is held on by a clear piece of plastic and will not fit the ARAH fig.

I don't think he is saying that it will fit. I think he's wanting to know if there are other accessories that are, or how different are they, etc. Could they be used, because you know we are going to get vintage figures on ebay that have new 25th accessories passed off as complete sooner or later. Some of the figures I have I look at the difference in the accessories. It's just good to know for whatever your reason.

No, I didn't. My sentence finished with a question mark.

I'm just curious to know, what is and what is not compatible between those 2 GI Joe lines.
