Walmart. About $10. I got punisher and wolvie.

The scale works with joes, though the aesthetic is a little different. They share a lot of construction with Joes, though the swivels are in different places on different figures. The legs attach to a t connector the way joes do. The legs don't come apart with screws which is a shame. The articulation is no better than Roadblock or Destro because of the muscle blockage. The neckballs are similar to joe, but closer to the size of Indy and SW. The feet have the same peg holes as joes and SW. Wrists and upper biceps swivel but there isn't a swivel joint at the elbow. The knees are different on both. The Wolvie has the 2 part knee, and the Punny has the SW style swivel knee.

The punny is really cartoony, and the head is really big. The neckball is joe style, and it looks like with a little dremmeling, there may be the ability to swap heads for a joe one. If you push the belt down to his waist, he looks well proportioned.

The big gun he comes with is laughable but the pistol and silenced rifle aren't too bad, and his hands are posed really weird, but can functionally hold a gun, (but look really bad without guns in them). He can hold the pistol with his finger outside the guard for some reason. He's not that bad, and a head swap would make him much better.

Wolvie has the same giraffe neck that plagued the Superhero Showdown figures. It's like he's got a hunch back or something. He has a torso that is where the joe one is. He comes with Duke's M16/203 which his hand is sculpted to hold perfectly. The claw on that hand is also perfectly on the 203 trigger which I found to be a cute little detail.

All in all, they're growing on me, and they're joining Iron monger in my hulk buster vehicle. I might even pick up the Iron Man. They are a lot more solid that the SH/SH figures and pose a lot better. I wouldn't go out of my way to get all of them at $10 each, but pick up any of them that interest you because they're pretty damned cool.

Seems like I'm going hunting for these soon then.

AWE-SOME!

Thanks for the pics next to Snake-Eyes Raps. I can't WAIT to get these.

Because, y'know, I need to spend more money on toys :shifty:

I suppose it is rather appropriate that Wolvie is showing up in Canada first.

Really, that is the only figure that has me stoked, especially after Raptor's review.

thanks for the review Raptor. I've already got my Punisher improvement customization mapped out now! They do look much better next to Joes than I suspected they would.

Can one of you kind Canadians post a TRU SKN or even a UPC from these?

Time to see if the US wharehouses have them yet.

I might be able to scan a UPC tonight when I get home, but they aren't in Canadian TRU's, only Walmarts.
