I can only pick one?!?!?! What the..???

I hav always loved Python stuff and HEAT Vipers. And when they put the two together.....

I was always a fan of the Python Viper......(no pun intended)

This was somewhat tough. I've been keen on the Python Officer for the last few months. The Python Viper is also an old favorite. But, I had to go with Relampago. The mold is distinctive enough in those colors that it doesn't seem like just a Ripcord repaint to me. Plus, the sniper rifle gave him some characterization in my collection that made him relevant. Gatilho is close as that's a solid figure, too. But, I still see Airborne when I look at him, so Relampago wins.

Gatilho and Relampago are two of my favorite International figures, but I went with what is probably the least popular army builder from the list: SAW Viper. I love the gold and the fact that the arrow on the head is painted

I picked Major Bludd. I think that is a dam fine figure. Good use of that head and the sonic fighter zap body. Plus of all the PP camo schemes I like the red on black the best.

Relampago comes in second. Forget that he's an international figure using the mold of a pretty popular Joe character. The figure just looks cool. They took the light grey/grey camo used on the viper and tele-viper and made it look even better. Add the accessories and this one is superb.

If I had to choose an army builder instead of a character I'd go with the officer. Just the hint of yellow on the black uniform looks sharp.

I went with the Viper. One of my favorite troopers to begin with, and his Python Patrol incarnation works very nicely, I believe.

Most of the figures in the later set work well, though, with the possible exception of the SAW-Viper. Too much bright red.

My least favorite would have to be the Crimson Guard, if for no other reason than dark red WAS a color available in that team, and he has the least amount of it. Weird sort of irony there.

And I would personally like to applaud and salute anyone who's ever had the guts to customize a Python Patrol vehicle and has managed to do a decent job of it.

I had the full set of figures as a kid, none of the vehicles. I remember being really excited about opening them all up.

The Viper was the one I always wanted more of as a kid. I wasn't even really aware of the concept of army building back then, but I loved the way the black and red helmet looked with the grey uniform... just the right amount of yellow.

I also really liked the way the Crimson Guard looked, though I agree with GITrekker in that it was an odd color choice for a figure still NAMED Crimson Guard.
