Saw this today at TRU. Don't know if it's been reported in here yet. There's a new 3-pack of 12" figures at TRU. It's packaged under the "LAND, SEA, AND AIR" banner -- same thing they did with some Sigma-styled Joes a couple of years ago. In fact, at first glance (tucked away on the bottom shelf), I thought it WAS that set. Until I realized the package was too large.

It's a nice set if you have the money. It's $40, which I suppose isn't too bad for three 12" Joes. "Land" is represented by a very capable Rock & Roll, who looks like an excellent 12" version of the original figure. "Sea" is represnted by Wet-Suit, who's actually dressed a lot like Deep Six was for the Sigma version of this set -- a sort of yellowish-orange diving suit. "Air" is represented by "Captain" Ace, who's dressed mostly in dark blue, sort of a new look for him, but not a bad one. Plastic shirts, fabric trousers for R&R and Ace.

And staying with the 12" line for a moment, I'll be interested to see what the 12" Cobra Eel looks like that's mentioned in the Club Newsletter...

Yeah I totally need to hit up TRU and get a couple of these sets for the Rock 'n' Roll figure (1 to keep MIB, 1 to open). They look pretty cool for what they are. The new 12" figures are definitely for kids and once you get past that they are pretty cool designs.

That Ace figure in the set should be labeled Wild Bill. I saw a pic of the set over on the Trenches board and it is the Wild Bill figure Hasbro showed at Joe Con this year. Either way I do not really care for this set, the Sigma version was much better looking. If this was done using the vintage 12" figures and gear I would of gladly picked it up.
