I've done this in the past for MASS Device, Weather Dominator, Pyramids of Darkness, and Arise, Serpentor, Arise. Now I've made the jump from "5 Memorable Moments" to 10, and I've tackled the always controversial G.I. Joe: The Movie.

Check out my 10 most memorable moments over on GeneralsJoes!

Arise, Serpentor, Arise....I REALLY liked the part where Serpentor gets up for the first time and gives his 'let those who fear me, follow me' speech.

Also, the part with the Secret Service in DC joining in the battle.

Its funny, I always thought GIJoe the Movie got a bum rap.

Come on Hasbro, please make a Pythona fig! I'll even buy a CC repaint with a cape if you wanted to rehash his fig in a two pack! Haha.

You forgot to mention that scene when a Cobra-La monster swallowed up Tunnel Rat, only to have blasted his way out in a comical manner. :rotfl:

Ewwww... gross. 8-O

My favorite moments in that movie:

The sequence of Pythona plowing through every security system Cobra has in place. That was amazing. I was so disappointed we never got a traditional-style figure of her (or any other version...)

The opening sequence of the movie. Cobra attacks the Statue of Liberty. Cobra gets their own "theme music", essentially. It might not have had that much to do with the rest of the movie, but it was an amazing animated sequence.

Cobra-La for the first time, including the Cobra-La Guard attack on the G.I.Joes. First the Cobras wonder what they've just driven into, and then Cobra-La kicks the Joe Team's collective keisters for them as the Joes REALLY wonder what they've just driven into!

Funniest moment -- Order bringing the bomb back to Law and Law acting so casual about it while Beach-Head is freaking out.

I agree with Trekker here, "He finds the bombs, I drive the car. We tried it the other, but it just didn't work." That's great.

I love the opening sequence with Pythona as well. Great intro to the character.

I was going to post that too, I had totally forgotten that line. I still think it's hilarious.

There's a lot to love about that movie, I always forget more than just the opening scene is good. I'm going to have to watch it again soon.

there are some great moments there! heres a few of mine that were not mentioned:

1) Golobulous's Threat: "BE SILENT!!! ...or be Silenced!"

2) Destro's Battle cry: "FORWARD! SHOW NO MERCY!!!"

3) The training scenes. Yeah, I know its stereotypical as all hell, but I Liked Big Lob's sports metaphors, especially:

"Is it Good? YEEEEEESSSSS!!!"

4) Sgt Slaughter: "There are only two ways out of my command, on your feet like a man, or in a Ditty Bag, an ITTY BITTY DITTY bag!!!! I almost had a coniption when he said it at the 06 con!

That being said, Yeah, the Cobra -La guards entrance was totally bad ass from start to finish (although I don't think Snake-eyes wouldve got [LASER BLAST] like that), But Nemesis Envorcer picking up a Havoc, then ripping snow job out like he was a three year old...!

Pythona wading through the terrordrome like it was nothing will forever be the "WTF" reason she never got a figure.

...and the Opening sequence will always be the greatest scene ever in any Joe franchise. between Snake-eyes flipping a viper out of a trouble bubble, to General Hawk standing on top of the statue blazing away!

I don't know if he remembers where he got it, but to this day, my dad still says, "At ease, disease. There's fungus among us," once in a while.
