Target Raises Prices to $7.99 for Joe figures

I saw that price hike at my local TRU, everything Joe wise is a dollar more than Wal-Mart, but they have the Batman little playsets cheaper than WM :-/

Checked my TRU last night, and they raised most of the price on a few items to the Target Prices. Last weekend they were 6.99 for Joes and Indy Figures and 9.99 for DC Universe 6" figure. Last night the Joes and Indy figures were both jacked up to 7.99 and 10.99 for the DC Universe figures which is the same as the Target Prices.

Yesterday TRU had single carded Joes at $6.99 and CP's $10.99. Today they both went up a $1. $7.99 for singles & $11.99 for CP's, vehicles, DVD Packs, and the exclusives remain the same price. Indy fig's were always $7.99.

Allegedly we're paying for oil as priced when the figs were made. But its just profit taking.

I was at Target yesterday and the shelf tag was $9.89 on Joes. I took one to a scanner to check that it wasn't a mistag, and sure enough, they came up at $9.89.

I had to ask for the $4.99 sale price on the wave 11 figures I picked up at target. $9.89 is a bit much though.

Comic packs were $9.89 at my Target. Singles were $4.99

Couple weeks ago, one Target had the sale for singles at $4.99, but the tag underneath had the price same as CP's-$9.89 for CP's & single card figures. Right now though, single's are back up to $6.89.

Stopped in Kmart yesterday hoping that something decent was on sale....indy figures bogo but the figures were almost 12 bucks each for the single cards....WTF, I look to the joe section and single figures are 9.49 each while the two packs were just over 11 I think. I seriously hat the kmart here, they have the voyager class transformers(20 bucks at walmat maybe 24 at target) and yet they are 31.29 at Kmart....

Singles are $6.84 here both at Target & Walmart.

Not only are figs 8 bucks again, but I think the BATTLE PACK got as price hike as well again. It was originally MSRP'd at $50, then $60, I paid $62.99 plus tax for mine. But yesterday at a local Targe' i saw a price tag for these packs for $69.99!!!!

I haven't seen a confirmed sale price of $50 for that battle pack anywhere since it came out.

I got mine for $57, but only because I had a 10% discount day. It was $62.99 on the shelf.

When I saw one again last week, it was sporting the $69.99 tag.
