Like many have said I got allot of mileage from figures from that year. I am not a sculptor or painter so I LBC'd as many of those guys as I could. Mangler, Sgt Boulder from Sigma Six,Lockdown from Sigma Six, and Big Lob, all got figures out of those figures. Also I use Low Light, Cross fire, Big Brawler and Double Blast.

Sure Fire. He was the best new figure because his headsculpt is really good and he didn't have stupid weapons (Like a backpack that he couldn't wear). I guess he gets a bum rap due to his filename, which is surprising because Big Brawler was also named after a Steel Brigade cat.

How many people voted for Big Brawler because of the "Brawlin'" joke (Which the creator, stiches tells me he didn't find funny after the first 3 uses) anyways?

Big Brawler because he uses the Outback body. That is just a great mold they could release it 1000 times and I'd never get bored of it. Flashligh, decent backpack, and a nice AK variation (at the time) and you have a decent figure.

Sure Fire would be next on my list because they took the DEF shockwave mold and made it relevant again. Yes the filecard is rediculous. Yes people have a beef with David Lane, but the figure itself is superb. Trekker they released the Sure Fire character again in the JvC line but it was repainted in greens and was a straight up repaint of the DEF Shockwave figure, ie no new head sculpt.

I voted for Big Brawler because he brawls big! :bigbrawler:

I actually love all of the figures on the list. While I agree that most of the colors are repetitive, and the skin tones are a bit too pale, I mostly like the conformity. Wet-Suit looks far better with the subdued colors. If I had to pick a least favorite, I'd go with Double Blast because he's a unique character but doesn't look any different than Roadblock.
