I may be in the minority, but I would actually prefer a line that is more similar to what they did with Star Wars Transformers (minus the dumb robot modes). Yeah, I could take a few Transformers scaled to 3 3/4" Joes, but they would either get rediculously expensive or rediculously tiny (for the character they portray) quickly. We could cost-effectively get Bumblebee, Wheelie, Ravage, Minicons (we did get that with the Energon Kicker pack), or any smaller guys. And I am sure Prime could sell to some degree at a huge price point. But the line like that would be extremely limited.
And from the Joe perspective, I can't see how having a 3 3/4" cross-over line would be of much benefit. We would either start having to shell out extra $ to get a new Joe packed with a Transformer or the line would be inundated with Joe repaints.
But if they did it somewhat like they did Star Wars, we could get a large variety of Joe vehicles in a smaller format along with 1" versions of Joe characters. A Terrordrome isn't nearly as much of a risk for Hasbro if it is scaled down.
I'm picturing myself walking out of the store one day with a Transformers deluxe-sized Brawl that turns into a HISS tank and comes with a 1" HISS driver and a 1" Cobra Commander. Or an Ultra Class Starscream that turns into a Night Raven with Strato-Viper and Serpentor. Or a Deluxe-sized Hound who turns into a Vamp with Clutch and Spike. The possibilities are almost endless.
It would be a decent excuse to break out the old Microfigures molds.
