Well, now that I have the DVD Packs for Pyramids and Serpentor, I've done another post on my site for Pyramids of Darkness.

Arise, Serpentor, Arise is coming soon, Pyramids of Darkness is online now.

I remember this min-series vaguely.

I am looking forward to the set just to watch it.

And why has no one made a custom of the Commanders HISS tank from the opening scene? That things is rad.

You know I forgot about the Quick Kick vs Storm Shadow fight before I watched the DVD. Yeah great intro that made no sense when you think about it but QK beat Storm Shadow.

One thing I really liked about the cartoon is How they down played the Power of NINJA. Quick Kick & Spirit could pose a threat to Storm Shadow. A half a dozen Cobra troopers could tackle before Duke, Snake Eyes and beat them into submission. The Ninjas were cool, you got them in small doses and rarely seemed like supermen.

Qk clubbing seals? Perfect!

"Hitler had a canary." Just caught that line today. Shipwreck, disguised as a Cobra, explained to a Cobra Officer why Timber and Polly are with him and Snake-Eyes.

When I heard that, I thought, "What? Did the writers really make a Hitler joke in a children's cartoon during the mid 80's?" They sure did. I listened to it again.

I loved the scene where Destro gets some lava on his helmet and he whips out a buffer to polish it up. :rotfl: That's the best GI Joe scene eva'.

you mean the tank that got taken out by the wing of a skystriker?

I keep pointing this out, to no avail.
