Definitely not. Especially if you plan on opening it. I bought one loose for $40 bucks.

You can probably get them cheaper than that. But, this is an item that has taken on a second life in the aftermarket. I think a lot of collectors simply passed it by as it was big, expensive and didn't include an exclusive figure. I know I didn't even bite for ~$20 on clearance. As such, they are somewhat more difficult to find these days than other exclusives from the same time period and you will pay more accordingly.

If I can find one in good condition and a good price as well as complete, I'd buy it. Not for $350 though.

I wish I had picked one up back when it was on clearance. I tried but I think they were all gone and TRU was closing several stores here at the time. I thought it had a lot of play value and cool little features for its size. From the jail cell where CC spent many nights to the helo-pad for my Dragonfly to the elevator for Joes to use. It was the only large playset I ever had when I was kid so it holds a special place in my memories.

I grabbed one on clearance way back, and it was a good price for 2003 or whenever it was. The box was so mangled that I opened it up and verified the contents. It never did fit back right.

I wouldn't've minded getting one for customization purposes. What always annoyed me about the thing was that it looked to be virtually identical in color scheme to the original. Come on, Hasbro, was there a shortage of olive green plastic that year? Or was it too big to do the "molded in camouflage" look on?

But $350? Good grief, no. $35, maybe...

Hard to believe they sell for that much. I did buy mine for regular retail price but I don't regret it. It is a really fun playset and I don't have to seek out missing parts from a vintage one. I actually just cleaned mine off the other day as part of my massive project to clean and dust my entire toy room. Apparently dust likes the MCC but it had loads of it.

I've seen several of them sell recently in the $150 MIB, so that is definitely way off.

Hell, $150 is way off. I wouldn't go over $70, including shipping, for a MIB one of any year. It's fun, but it's not like it's gonna get ya a beer and a handjob or nothin'.

Bought one at TRU for $30, turned around and sold it a few months later for $140.
