So, if they do movie characters in 25th style, will no one be buying them?

oh I'll buy the toys.

If the articulation matches up, the detail is comparable, and action feature crap is indeed kept away from the figure sculpts themselves, yes I'll definitely be buying the toys. Hasbro's promised us compatible figures so I'm hoping they'll make good on that. The movie is definitely going to be sucktastic but that doesn't mean good action figures should suffer for the crimes of the film makers.

he doesn't look rugged enough and could use his head set, but over all I am hyped for him.

Hmm. Well, at least we know the Resolute figures are new sculpts. That's a Duke repaint. With two left hands.

Oh I'll be buying.
The figures at least. Vehicles are starting to take too much space already.

Whoa. That Thunder looks fantastic!! Thanks for the pic daniel!

It's been a banner Joe year. Hasbro has or will produce at least one version of each of my favorite Joes!

Is that Armadillo scheduled for release with another vehicle?

That snowmobile does look like it came straight out of the JvC line. As bad as this sounds, I hope the movie toys stink so I won't feel compeled to collect them. Then I can then save some money for more 80's figures down the road.

If the movie Neo-Viper figure looks anything like the shots I've seen from the film, I'm buying 5-10 to use as my Black Dragons. Other figures I'm taking a wait and see approach, but I'm sure I'll be able to make them work for something. With as much fodder as I buy fully 25th compatible figures are a much better value than some of the stuff I get just for a head or accessory.
