What can I say, these two figures are must-haves for your collection. You've already read the reviews on Croc (I said CROC!) Master so the bite on his bicep is well documented. Overall the whole sculpt and attention to detail is fantastic, however with a critical eye: 1) his legs feel a bit spindley considering he's supposed to be large and powerful, to put it into perspective, Mutt's legs look bigger and 2) If you didn't like the mid-torso articulation to begin with, well because of his croc-textured tank top, it's even more glaring in certain poses.

Image

Here's a shot of my Michaels 1:18 scale animal farm crocodile next to the 25th and the original - no contest I say.

Image

Next is Mutt. Yes Junkyard has his junk but even more so, next to the original Junkyard, this one looks pretty realistic. Mutt is also a nice sculpt, highly detailed once again and a future look at Resolute/Sigma6/25th Anniversary Duke and Lift-Ticket because I think they all share the same mold. Now I'm really looking forward to Lift-Ticket and the Skyhawk.

Image

Last pic is for Pete the Greek. The heads from the original 25th Joes fit rather loosely on these DVD-pack Cobra Trooper necks, but I'm sure wave 11 Cobra Flint will have that corrected so we can all do the Mutt switch and reinact that famous cartoon scene in Pyramid of Darkness when they meet/recruit Shipwreck.

Thanks for the last pic. I will use the upcoming Flint body for Mutt's head.

How well does the original muzzle fit on the new Mutt? I absolutely hate how that looks with it hanging down by his chin.

Ah don't worry about that, the 25th muzzle fits fine, I just lowered it to his chin for the pics so we can see his 70s 'stach

I dig those picks Bandy, looking cool there:)

Oh and while at my gym I see people with "Croc Master syndrome", which I will now refer to all the huge muscular guys who only work the upper bodies :-P

no point making a new thread, THIS is how one should end their week! My DVD packs arrived today and I couldn't be happier!

Check out my 1985 shelf (it's my personal favourite year):
Image

Quick Kick is pretty sloppy but at least he ups the quota on '85 characters. Funny enough his feet are actually the best part of him, great call not going with ankle articulation, however the rest of him could have been done better. I had to rip off that stupid cloth piece for Dusty, it looked silly flared out like that and it was dark brown huh?!? Love his added waist articulation but be warned he's got arms like Hawk so no 90 degree bends - still an awesome figure although I would have liked his v1 camo pattern more. Purple/Black Snake Eyes is the definitive Snake Eyes I've always wanted, this figure rocks all kinds of worlds.

Here's a pic of Major Bludd - THIS is how he should have been done in the first place:
Image

Love his cartoon colours and the first thing I did was snip off his dog-tags, cut em down and crazy glue it to his shirt collar properly. I also crazy glued his backpack missiles so they dont keep dropping off. Love his new sculpted arm even though it's not articulated. At least it has 5 fingers and not that abomination 3 finger-hand we got the last time.

Finally here's a pic of my cartoon-accurate BAT. I was going to use him for trade fodder but damnit I can't shake this BAT addiction I have!
Image

oh yeah no comments on the craptacular serpy or skeleton, although I do like the CC, but he's really light blue

Those DVD pack figures look pretty cool in your display. That new Major Bludd actually does look like an improvement and I was originally against that figure.

Quick Kick's ankles don't articulate?

Why Hasbro? WHY???

y'know I didn't mention it but these DVD-packs rock - besides the figures we get two more DVDs (althought I already own it al), and you get to further complete the MASS Device

I'm not sure where the cube goes
