Bought a couple of recent figures yesterday, specifically the new Snow Bunny Padme and the Clone Trooper with Training Gear, with the intention of using them for a couple of customs. When I compared them to the other figures I am using for this set: Joes, TAC SW and SHS (Okay, the SHS are slightly bigger), I realised just how tiny these figures are. The Clone could be the TAC Death Star Trooper's teenage son.

Is it just my imagination, or are the SW figures getting smaller?

Could anyone tell me how the ROTS Bail Organa Republic Senator compares in size to the aforementioned Death Star Trooper?

All i know from what i seen on the pegs is that all the Clone Wars figures are skinnyier and slightly smaller than the Legacy ones, well most of them.

Depending on the figure they are getting smaller. I have the new Legacy clone armor Obi-Wan and he's the same size as the ROTS clone troopers which are shorter than the EVO Troopers. I had hoped to use him for fodder with my Joes but he's just too short. He does have the ball-jointed hips though :-/

For whatever reason, Hasbro seems to have diminished the size of a number of "human" characters in what is now referred to as the Legacy line before it was even known by that name. Some of the figures in the single packs and comig packs were noticably short. This included some humanoid-type Droids.

(Fortunately for me, Clone Troopers were unaffected since they have established molds).

The new Clone Wars figures are certainly more slender, in keeping with the style of the concept, but I don't know about shorter. Granted the only one I have is Captain Rex, and he seems to be of appropriate height.

This "variable human height" is one of the biggest factors that has limited my Star Wars purchases in recent times. It's very annoying.

Do any of the Star Wars have good heads for head swapping with the Joes?

Yeah they are good for swapping but you have to do some work to the necks to get them to work with the smaller Joe neckposts.
