Just bought a Target Rattler and the stickers are coming off all of the weapons. If I go back and press the stickers down, they will have peeled back up within a day. Is there a recommended way to address this issue before I go messing around with it?

I'd really rather not buy a new set of stickers.

I read here or on TNI that someone put scotch tape over them. It's clear and about the same width as the missile stickers, show it should be invisible.

Some people have reported some type of greasy film on their Rattlers, like mold release. If you wipe it down with rubbing alcohol before you put the stickers on they stay much better. That's what I read anyway. I'm holding off putting the matte stickers on my Rattler and getting a set of glossy from Cobrastickers.com.

The trick I mentioned was just for the missiles, so for the others, you could wash the planes like MS mentioned. I had more of a problem with miniature air bubbles under the stickers, and found that I had to rub them extra hard to get the bubbles out, which made me nervous, as I didn't want to ruin the graphics.

For those of you who have received the Firebat and new AWE, are the stickers the same as the Target exclusives, or are they normal transparent stickers?

The Firebat and SHARC stickers are the glossy kind like what came with the Target and Wave 1 vehicles. Just these two Target planes got the lesser quality stickers.

I posted this in another thread. I mention cylindrical wrap stickers, but you could use it for flat stickers, too:

What I do for stickers that have to wrap around cylindrical objects is apply them in a series of steps. First, I put just the very top edge and run a thin layer of "clear parts cement" along the edge. I let that set, then apply more of the cement to the bottom of the sticker, then wrap it around the part, making sure to not have any cement bleed out, and wiping off any that does. I then wrap a rubberband around it to hold it in place until the cement dries (finally, a use for all the hand-warping rubberbands!). Once the whole thing is dry, I give all the edges a sealing coat of the cement to prevent lifting.
