What did the Cobra Frogmen in MASS device look like? I'm betting that's what we're getting, probably using more of the Torpedo mold.

The wave is kinda meh. I just hope that the Trooper is identical to the original 5 pack one. Won't be preordering this wave, but I'll pick some of it up.

I'd actually like one more use of the Cobra Trooper mold at least. A generic Sailor. Trooper torso, Maybe the fixed Duke arms or Flints) Shipwreck legs and the CP Shippy life vest. I think it'd be cool.

The cobra diver is exactly how I imagined they would do him, so its cool.
All we need now is a pink and a blue Torpedo repaint and we'll have the mighty swimming rangers

Any 5 pack must also come with a cobra commander.

I like the diver repaint. Torp is one of the best figures released so far, and releasing him as an army builder seems to be a pretty good idea.

PP Crimson guard was the ugliest figure ever released in the classic line. They have faithfully reproduced it. I hate this figure with every fiber of my being.

I'm pretty sure those are the regular Storm Shadow arms.

The Cobra Diver and red-emblem Cobra Trooper are good, and I'd be more interested in Tripwire if I didn't already have the comic pack version. I don't need Storm Shadow minor variation 42, Python Patrol Crimson Guard, or cartoon Ripper (while I like using cartoon versions of characters in my 25th collection, I think the existing Ripper is close enough).

Knowing Hasbro, that Tripwire is gonna have a smooth chest pad

Yup, diggin on the MASS Device Cobra Frogman, curious if he'll get a new head (guessing not, I don;'t see any new parts in this asst.) I'll buy a few Troopers, Stormy looks good (though why they didn't just do his Ninja Force outfit, even minus the shoulder armor, I dunno). Guess I'll have to get Tripwire for the element container, so I'll just hope that they do him in v1 colors but use the smooth chest armor. Ripper's a pass, and I too hate the PP CG color scheme, but have a use for one, so I guess I'll buy pretty much the whole wave.

I like the looks af that diver. I was just watching the MASS Device last night. I wish the other two elemets didn't come with figures I have no use for though

I went ahead and ordered a case. I want 3 Cobra Divers, 2 Crimson Python Guards (even though they are ugly), and 2 Cobra Troopers witht he red logo. I guess I have to get Tripwire too. The case will give me a head start and the rest I'll find in store. I just don't care anything about Cobra Commander, Ripper, or Storm Shadow. I wouldn't even care for Tripwire if it wasn't for the element.

I think I'll probably repurpose one of these as a Joe rescue diver and see if I can't trade the other for an extra Eel.

I'm stoked to get the MASS pieces... not much else.

Ripper looks awful in the cartoon colors. Unless the picture is way too bright, the colors need to be way muted. Storm Shadow looks like... every other Storm Shadow. Ninja Force Storm Shadow should've been the no-brainer repaint. Even in teal, to give us a Ninja Viper would've been preffered. Python CG looks as pathetic as the original. He was the worst of the bunch then, and now that we've gotten three disgusting Siegie repaints (The 3-pack Commander, the 5-pack Officer, and the 7-pack Desert look), this one just runs the mold squarely into the ground.

Tripwire, I suspect, will be repainted somewhat, somewhere. Otherwise, why'd I buy that ridiculous comic-pack (could've e-bayed the CC figure... no one wants him). I understand why they'd repack the Wave 8 CC for this wave, to give everyone a chance now that all three elements are available. The Cobra Diver is a fine figure, but I won't be army building. Paired with the Baroness, I may make them a Cobra underwater duo serving under Copperhead. Or I may parts-box them both.

The Cobra Trooper is just sad. Finally the black webgear, the red logo... but it won't match the 5-pack set because of the red mask, and it won't match *any* of the previous blue Trooper releases because the neck is exposed.
