I have noticed the new case breakdown has screwed folks. We just got back from doing a road trip last week and every walmart we stopped at were loaded with new cases and not a bat or Snow serpent to be seen. Of course all of them were loaded to the gills with torpedos, and wildbills, and vipers, heck my walmart is sitting on ten jet pack dukes. It's too bad HTS doesn't keep better stock in so people don't have to resort to scalpers. Of course if everyone stopped buying from them eventually they'd get pissed damage the card and take them back to the store. Though that doesn't solve the problem of troop builders like myself.
It's too bad hts won't sell 8 packs of troops like they do for starwars, though i think that is more a case of clearing peg warming starwars toys out for places like walmart. I don't know how many times i've seen the half isle devoted to starwars hang there after the handful of desirable characters have been bought, only to magically disappear over night.
That's the darn truth. I'm only one figure away from having the original 13 Joes thanks to a bit of customizing, only lacking Flash to finish off the team but no darn way am I going to pay scalpers their insane mark up on e-Bay just to get that last figure.
Would be insanely nice if Hasbro Toy Shop could stock the things that are such scalper bait because I wouldn't mind paying them a few extra bucks for something hard to find.
