just finished it cover to cover, and in the end, my review: solid win.

they told a mature, complete story, covering all the bases (basics?) with plenty of nods to the fans of all continuities.

even the art was nostalgic after a while...

only critique is the one that was brought up earlier for the single issue, when everybody got to new york so fast...

it was a great way to wrap up their run. and the extras at the end (cover gallery) and specifically the shout out to the community were great finishing touches.

kudos to you, Devil's Due. Thanks for the memories, and the new storylines and characters, and thanks for taking care of our beloved brand.

Yeah, it was a shame that the rest of the DD run couldn't have been at the same level as the WW3 arc. It was really the first thing DD had done that really engaged me. I liked some of the early arcs (back when it was Image) but they were so short that you couldn't really get into them. It seems like they hit their stride right as they ended.
