Ok, here's the long and short of it. They are stickers, and not tampo, so forget about putting them on uneven surfaces. If there's a "wrinkle" in the plastic, you really can tell that it's a sticker.

But if for some reason you have a flat piece of plastic to put them on, they look pretty damned near perfect. If you've ever wanted a Cobra Invisor, you're a snake eyes and a sticker away from having one. Want to replace that worn silver logo on your cobra officer or viper pilot - bingo! - this is the answer.

They are pretty durable, and stick to plastic and metal really well. Like I said, the only restriction is that you need a pretty flat piece of plastic to put them on.

If it's on a regular type of vinyl material, you should be able to hit it with a hair drier and press the material into the bent areas. Thin vinyl will tend to do that. The material that I have for my custom stickers is actually heat resistant, so that makes things a little bit of an issue if you were to try and drop one on an action figure. I can print single color images such as cobra logos and all on regular clear vinyl but other people already offer that.

But anyway, that's why I know about the vinyl. I've lettered the back of pickup trucks and use a heat gun when I'm bending vinyl into the back handle and other areas of that type. I've done a few figures pressing vinyl too. Try cutting a small piece off that's not printed and see what you might be able to do. Just watch out and don't allow the vinyl to stretch too much where the logo is since it could distort if you bend it too far.

I did that to repair a Hiss driver, using one from reprolabels.

Does trimming the excess 'clear' parts around the logo help the appearance at all?

Haven't tried it yet. The flash certainly picked up the edges, but they aren't as visible, on the actual figure.

Given my lack of manual dexterity, I sincerely doubt that I could make them look better by cutting them. :-/

But I'd rock as a "transformation" Surgeon in Sweden.

If they're the same type as reprolabels does then they work really well for smooth surfaces.

I am just waiting on Cobrastickers to get a Snow Cat set up then I'll be placing a nice order.
