Damn you Soulgem, that's a Techno Viper v2 + Power Fighter!
Yes, I'm jealous............
Seriously, great stuff man. How's that Power Fighter, does it have some good playability?
Can I ask you how much you paid for it?

Well first of all I’d like to remind people about a thread a couple of weeks back where this little toy got seriously bashed. The general idea is that the Copper Techno is cool, but the Power Fighter is really really awful.
This is of course not true, and the people who share this idea are probably not owners of the Cobra Power Fighter. Follows a small review of the Power Fighter with Techno Viper.
I won this toy on a $40 auction, and it’s easely worth that money.
The mech is green and black with stickers already applied, and there are some really nice details on it. In particular, the color of the mech separates this toy from the ordinary joe vehicle.
My first thought when I saw this thing was that it could take out an army had it not been for the fact that it’s driver is very unprotected. So I’m going to pretend there is a force field to protect the poor Techno Viper. The Power Fighter is heavily armed, and all it’s weapons can be turned in various positions. The top gun is mounted on a ball joint, which I think was kinda cool. Also the missile launcher is very powerful, and has a longer range than the normal joe launcher. If anything, I’d critique the chainsaw for being a bit vulgar.
The Power Fighter is actually articulated, capable of moving it’s feet. But it’s really limited, and you’d suspect the mech used a good while to move foreward. I don’t mind. I’ll pretend it’s helped by some wheels, or that it can fly a bit. Theres two panels in front of the drivers’ feet that opens, and of course the helmet that is pulled down in front of the drivers face.
With all the details, all the weapons, and the way the driver is placed, this thing has good playability. If I were to compare it with some of my other, similar sized, vehicles in terms of playability, I’d place it a bit below Night Landing, but far above the likes of Destros jet and
The Techno Viper is well documented and is painted in simple copper and purple with head in black and silver. This figure is so ridiculously simple and equally awesome. The paint is sharp and he matches his mech perfectly. I don’t think it would be cooler with a cobra symbol on the chest. I’ll throw up some pictures next week for the ones who are interested.
