For the most part, I'm impressed. I am especially pleased with Munitia, the others are cool. About the only one I'm not terribly impressed with is the Night-Viper, but then the original is almost impossible to top in my book.

I'm glad these are coming out, but I HATE that they changed Munitia's purple to blue. The purple made that figure stand out. Now it looks pretty lame to me. The Night Viper looks a bit brighter, too, which is a let down.

I like Night Viper and Outback best. Too bad Copperhead got that ninja sword. It doesn't make any sense to me. That should have been a machete.

The MOTH vehicle was doomed from the time they released the first MOTH set. It never stood a chance once people saw the pricetag.

At this point wave 4 is probably inevitable, but Master Collector would have been FAR better served by just cancelling the project a few months ago and making Munitia next year's freebie figure.

Instead these are going to sit in their warehouses (Master?) collecting dust and loosing the company money. And all the blame will be on us, the fickled fans

It's the price that's going to stop me. I wouldn't mind owning the full set, but I just can't pay a huge amount for them. Master Collector prices add up fast. I just got my credit card bill in that shows my G.I.Joe con trip expenses. I spent way more than I thought and it shows why I can't pay their prices for large amounts of stuff.

Yeah, to put it in Adam West Batman series terms, Munitia is now being portrayed by Eartha Kitt.

I really didn't think the MOTH sets were that outragously priced. $25 for 2 exclusive figures is really much less than they typically charge for other figures without packaging. Paradrop figs, club membership figs are $20. So were the drivers from the Mauler tanks. I don't know what the run on each set was, but I think they just made too many. Just like that 12" figure they [LASER BLAST] about every year at the convention. They submitted a request for 4000, got a price. Lowered it to 2000, it was the same price. They had 4000 made and now they sit in a warehouse.

I just wanted to point out that we are talking $25 for a set of REPAINTS. Repaints are not that exclusive. But generally I do feel its overpriced when you don't have those intitial costs of design and molding (since the molds are made) and ect ect.

But the increases in the con sets each year (and the ever changeing reason for them) also point to something shady that many don't want to contribute money to.

Which is what bothers me on these figures, in order to get them I have to give money to a business I am not so sure of the dealings of (and honestly we can go on all day on that subject) the only alternative is second hand and that means ever MORE money put out for a figure that might barely be worth $5 realisticly. I'm not sure about all this the more I think about it.
