This week's profile if of the 2004 Chief Torpedo figure. This guy got lost in the flood of new figures that were released in the final quarter of 2004. But, he features a classic character in a uniform that is not environmentally specific and he has convention quality paint masks. Yet, he's relatively unmentioned these days.

Enjoy!

Another fantastic review. Like many other people, I over look this figure, because I can never remember if it is Wetsuit or Torpedo.

I also never paid attention to the fact that it has the same paint mask as the Dreadheads. This is one of the reasons that I love your reviews so much...learning things about figures that I never noticed before.

Midnight Chinese alternate paint scheme. There were two - all white pants, and the brown camo pants ones. They were available for a limited time through ebay from a few overseas sellers, and like most short produced alternate paint schemes, they're freakin expensive now. Mike added the visor from the original Tracker release.

If it's RAH, Mike T likely owns it - He's got a lot of those hard to find little RAH treats.

- R

I have the set MIB, but always wanted a loose Torpedo. I don't remember if I ever got one or if it was just Brawler

Yeah Mike has that effect on me also I would not own a South American figure if it wasn't for him. (TnT, Flying Scorpion, Python Patrol Ripcord , Airborn the Cesspool Dj Figure.)

This Chief Torpedo is almost an EXACT match for the white Dreadheads.

And I'd KILL for the chest from Night Force Tracker.
