If Hasbro gave the Vipers names and ranks and then released troops for them to command will you bite on that maybe like an online thing from their toystore.

Example

Claymore

We can start off with Claymore.
Using the Viper mold colored like the 98 trooper for the Base With a removeable helmet or optional head.
He could see a general release.
While his troops being available online.

Troops

1 Officer using the trooper mold and 4 vipers with rank patches Sgt Cpl 2 pfc's.

Mjr Warpath

Use a black and Blue color scheme with the Crimson Guard mold

Troops

1 Officer using the Cg mold and 4 troopers with rank patches

I may be misreading your post, but I think Hasbro has already done this to some extent.

We already have a Claymoore figure to command Vipers and there are plenty of different colored Vipers available now to make unique squads. The Viper 6 pack released not long ago and the 98 Viper 3 pack were rank-designated to some extent.

The new CG 3 -pack has a regualr CG and a more ornate "leader' figure. But the CG's already have the twins as their commanders. You could also use the CG Immortals as squad leaders with the blue one from the CAT tank as the general.

Regular Cobra troops already have rank designated officers, and the 6 pack further divided them up. Again, lots of flavors of the troopers to create differnt squadrons.

I see no need to make seemingly minor army builder variants when there are 100's already out there to choose from.
