Is anyone actually excited about the con this year?

I am greatly anticipating being at the G.I. Joe Convention this year. It should be a most pleasant experience.

There are no Joes in the set this year. All 15 are Cobra Headhunter forces. The 3 Joes on the box art will very likely be an additional convention souvenir 3 pack. Those are rarely shown until the convention starts.

Yeah, that's about the limit of my excitement for this year's con, looking at other people being there.

If you are attending, when they take those pictures of everyone waiting in line to pick up there stuff, give the camera some kind of secret joecustoms sign (And I don't mean flippin' the bird!).

Yeah, that is definitely a bird. Unlike some other so called "birds" we have seen in the past.

I wish I had a pic of kuukuuson in that outfit, but I was doubled over laughing for so long that it actually hurt.

Golobulous was a great obscure costume, and well constructed, but that Raptor costume was amazing.

I'd like to be able to go but the money issue is still going to be a thing both this year and next year so as fun as it would be I've still got to keep a roof over my head, food in the belly, and an internet connection to see how mad I can make Transformers fans :-D

Excited to see all the pics that come out of the con and I've got my hopes up that we will get a good bit of GI Joe and Cobra related news coming out.

Does seem oddly hype free this year. I mean you'd never know that a new comic book was coming out in October and a new live action movie was coming out next year the way things have been on the silent side. Would have been a nice year to make it since everything will be movie related next year so it's the last chance for a bit to get some non-movie related goodness. Not that I think the movie will be bad I'm just not sure how good it will be or if it will be my cup of tea.
