I'm really happy that they thought to include the Sankara stones with an army builder figure. It means that buying 3 stones (or5) will result in having multiples of a figure that has a purpose in multiples.

Though I agree that these would are best when in scale. I really hope the knight's shield is in scale with 3 3/4" Indy. But I also think that it is okay to put out a few for 12" figures. The Sankara Stones seem to do that.

And I agree with Dark Horse, these all seeem to be from one of Indy's previous adventures, even if it is the EU material. Definitely a good move by Hasbro. I appreciate the attention to detail.
