Released in 1993 as a pilot of a bad repaint of a bad vehicle, Blackjack has been forgotten by collectors as a group. Being a vehicle driver of a bad vehicle is hard enough but when your file card involves you with the Lunartix Empire you've probably hit rock bottom. "Blackjack was an amazing Cobra pilot who was abducted by the Lunartix Empire. He was sent back to earth as a plant for the Lunartix Empire. His suit was given to him by the Empire so it's fairly resistant to bullets." Thankfully, the only signs of his association with the Lunartix is yellow around his eye. Looking past his problems you can find a very nice figure. The black and bright green are actually very pleasing to the eye.

I am fairly happy with this figure. Since this figure was supposed to have come out in 1993, I had no qualms about giving it a neon green vest. Since I only got the parts about a month before the project ended, and that was when school started, I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to work on it. The paint apps are a little too messy for my liking. The bio is written as if it were in the style of Mike T or General Hawk's profiles of figures.
