H.I.S.S. M.A.A.V.

H.I.S.S. M.A.A.V.

The H.I.S.S. M.A.A.V. was originally conceived as a scaled-down version of Cobra's staple H.I.S.S. tank. Its unique design allows the H.I.S.S. M.A.A.V. to be equipped with armaments most appropriate to the mission at hand (the H.I.S.S. M.A.A.V. is currently capable of supporting an attack cannon, missile launcher, and sensor array).

The H.I.S.S. M.A.A.V.s promise to be a valuable asset to the Cobra heavy armor division. Their small size makes them faster than a standard H.I.S.S., while the multiple armament feature allows them great versatility. Plans for additional weapon components are already in development.

This was originally conceived as a smaller model of the H.I.S.S. with a missile launcher rather than the standard guns. However, when I was rigging up the missile launcher, I realized that I could use interchangeable weaponry. I liked the idea of Cobra being able to "customize" their own vehicles. I'll be the first to admit that the canopy is a bit half-assed. It's really the best I could do with the materials available to me while still keeping with the basic H.I.S.S. look.

Special thanks to Anlaschog for helping me out with ideas for the canopy construction.

H.I.S.S. VIPER

I'd always wanted to do a H.I.S.S. Driver, but have never necessarily wanted to remake the H.I.S.S. (I can't ever imagine topping the H.I.S.S. 2 in overall design). This project gave me the opportunity to pursue the various ideas I'd been compiling and produce the H.I.S.S. Viper.

He's obviously based off of matt's and sgartz's. After seeing matt's, I just can't imagine a H.I.S.S. driver with anything but red hair. To disguise the base part a bit, I brought the hairline forward and eliminated the monocle. The Viper pads were added to the arms to tie them to the leg armor. I added the kneepads as a reference to the cool kneepads found on the original H.I.S.S. Driver.
