Khali is Serpentor's Royal Bodyguard. Now that G.I. Joe is in heavy pursuit of Cobra, Serpentor thought he should have someone watching his back from threats from G.I. Joe and from threats from Cobra's command.

Little is known of Khali except he was a wrestler, big game hunter, safari guide, cage fighter and a chef.

IDW's Cobra has changed the view of Serpentor and Cobra-La. Since the origin has not been revealed yet I thought I would make a new Serpentor that is not as powerful as the previous versions. I think the sculpt of the Thuggee Slave driver is awesome. It was an easy change to swap the legs. They are just stuck in his belt. I think Khali looks great.
