Just like with Serpentor, I'm in the minority in liking Duke. I really liked the initial 25th Anniversary figure of Duke but as better and better sculpted parts came out the more I wanted to upgrade Duke to a better proportioned and looking figure.

The Viper torso has a lot of nice detail to it and is also really nicely proportioned. I wanted to give Duke some weight and this worked out nice.

I had to sculpt the eagle on his chest and also the bottom shirt lapels since I didn't like how it looked without it.

I also wanted to use my default Duke head that I've been using since the JvsC figures and my classic version. I really like this look for Duke so I dremeled out the head and put it on the torso. I had to trim down his jaw a bit though so that the head looked a bit more streamlined with the neck but it helped to bring the figure together.
