Born in the Czech Republic, Anastasia grow up in aristocratic wealth. Anastasia's father, Baron Cisarovna was a world known humanitarian and taught his children to be the same. Against their parent's consent, Eugene, Anastasia's older brother, choose to join a new Global Task Force known as GIJOE. Eugene dies in the Red Shadow Conflict, this devastates young Anastasia. Hoping to get past the death of her older brother, whom she idolized, she drowns herself in her studies. Her father, who was an Oxford graduate, sends her to the University of Oxford in England.

At Oxford, she meet a dashing young man by the name of Dashiell. The two became inseparable. The young lovers vacationed together in the tropical islands. While on vacation, Dashiell knelt on bended knee and asked Anastasia to marry him. She said yes. This would be the last time that Anastasia was truly happy. Upon returning to Oxfordshire, Anastasia received a message that her parents were murdered by insurgences during a humanitarian mission. Something within her snapped, she packed her clothes and left. Her mission: revenge.
