I had previously made another version of flint in May of 2007. The only difference was that he did not have swivel hands and he also had a radio. After making several other customs I decided that I wanted them all to have swivel wrists, so he was retooled in August of 2008 to give him the swivel wrists. One of the original reasons why I decided to make Flint again was because of that stupid looking beret. It looked like it was straight out of Hollywood and no true US Army Soldier would be caught dead wearing one like that. I also wanted to give him a more realistic firearm. The shotgun of the original was awesome, but it made no sense for that to be his only weapon. I also wanted him to have amore traditional look for a US Army Soldier, so I lost the black shirt and went with a complete woodland BDU's for him.
