Flint was a cool character, but his figures never quite lived up to their potential. I wanted to make a Flint that captured the character from the comic: a little cocky, but a determined and serious soldier. Finding a head was tough, since Flint is one of the most recognizable characters in the line. I thought about molding a beret onto the 91 Flint head, but as an afterthought I tried the Falcon head and really liked it. I was planning to paint camo on the pants, but I kind of like them without it. It's hard to see in the scan, but I painted his crossed-swords logo onto the beret patch.
