Croc Master didn't die when the Cobra freighter went down on that fateful day. He was pulled to safety by his loyal saltwater crocs. Badly burned CM sought out a backwoods doctor. A med school dropout the doc took CM and began fixing him up. CM needed extensive skin grafts and insisted it be croc skin. The twisted doc did the surgery. CM must now take a plethora of drugs to keep the graft from being rejected. These drugs are also slowly driving him insane.
