Drake Darrian is a former weapons specialist in the Australian Army. His specialty was light artillery rocket launchers to be exact. After serving his time in the Australian Army, Drake went on to work for a rocket propulsion company developing new types of short range rockets for the military. Finding the financial rewards bigger and better as an independent, started his own company, D.A.R.C. (Drake Armament Research Company); Drake's first order of business was to find a right hand man and bodyguard. His choice was Reese, a former soldier and sharp shooter that served in his unit with him while in the Australian. army. From there he became the leading arms dealer in the land down under using D.A.R.C as his front.

Next to Mars, D.A.R.C. is the leader in small arms dealing in the southern hemisphere. It is rumored that Drake maybe the distant cousin of Destro and the clan McCullen.
